Hunter first began his un-conscious spiritual path as a child teaching himself how to fly in his dreams. Then as a teenager he started having Dream Walker experiences, where he would interact with a person in a dream; then in waking real life, the person would treat him accordingly to what happened in the dream.

    Then as an adult he found out that his Great Grandmother was a medicine women.  His mother told him that as a child she would go walking through the desert with her Grandma to pick herbs and she had a concoction for every aliment. “The neighbors would always ask for her herbs, we never went to doctors, she knew a lot of ways to cure things.”

    Also her Uncle Lencho was called a “curandero” which means, healer, in Spanish. He had a healing touch and people would come from miles around to receive his healings and he was also known to be very psychic and would give readings. When he passed, the family was shocked at the hundreds of people who showed up to his funeral whom they did not know. It was all the people whose lives he had touched.

Also, with his alcohol and drug free path, he has also done Sober Companion work with clients from some of the top rehabs in LA, including Avalon Malibu and The Canyons. Working with everyone from top studio execs to retired pro athletes strung out on pain killers.  He also volunteers for the Visto Youth program at the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall bringing “A New Way of Life” workshops to at risk boys and teen gang members.

Hunter also started exploring other teachings and practices and became a devotee of Amma the Hugging Saint and volunteers at her Los Angeles program. He has done several three day teaching/sittings with the Dalai Lama. Became a Oneness Blessing giver of the practice from India, and studied light giving Sukyo Mahikari from Japan.

Hunter continues to share his film making gifts working on positive uplifting programs such as ABC’s Shark Tank.  He has filmed interviews with the last Abbot of the Shaolin Monks, and can be seen camera operating at the premier yoga kirtan event, BhaktiFest.

From there Hunter started getting Pranic Healing sessions on a regular basis and started taking all the classes himself -studying everything from Arhatic Yoga, Pranic Feng Shui, Crystal Healing, and Clairvoyance.  “When I’m working on a client, my Clairvoyance really kicks in and I can see into their energy body and chakras to help remove blocked and congested energies.”

Hunter Senftner has been an Energy Healer and Light Worker for over 20 years and has a background in the film/media industry as a Director, Editor, and Cinematographer using his meditation practice to channel creative insights, ideas, and work flows.  “The film industry can be quite demanding with long hours, tight deadlines, and intense egos.  I found a spiritual practice was essential to navigate through the ups and downs, to stay centered and on point.” You can find his film work on his website PrimitiveGroove.com

His conscious spiritual journey first started with taking meditation classes at the Self Realization Fellowship founded by Paramahansa Yogananda. “I had studied film at Art Center College of Design, and had shot several pieces, but would spend all day in the edit bay and could not get anything completed. I realized that my inner creative process was off and I felt meditation was the answer.  In my meditations I would see the shots all fall into place and when I went back to the edit bay it would work perfectly!”.  This meditation practice raised his consciousness to stop taking all mind altering substances, including alcohol and smoking in his early 20s.

“I discovered my health and immune system was weakened from over extending myself, so I started first with regular western medicine, and then moved into alternative practices.  I tried everything from Acupuncture, Nutritionists, Homeopathy, to Network Chiropractic run by renowned Dr. Har Hari Khalsa.  I asked him if he knew of any chakra energy balancers and he turned me onto Master Steven Co and Pranic Healing.  With my first session I was completely blown into total euphoria for about two weeks!  It felt like being shot out of a cannon into a Golden Beam of Sunlight.”
